Dear Emily,
Thanks for your message. I was very glad to hear from you.
Now I’d like to answer your questions. Some students in my class sometimes come too late to school. Their most common reasons are oversleeping, missing the bus, or having to take a younger sibling to kindergarten first. Fortunately, punishment for late comers is not very severe. If you are late, a teacher writes your name in a special notebook, and if it happens too often, they call your parents or make you stay after classes.
