Text A. Hi, everyone! I’d like to give you some advice on our hiking holiday. Tomorrow I’ll be waiting for you at the railway station at 8 a.m. It’s hot, but anyway don’t go with bare legs. Our route goes through bushes and rocky hills. Wear comfortable jeans or sports trousers if you don’t want your legs to be scratched or mosquito bitten. Do not forget water but don’t take much food. We’ll be taking breaks at places equipped with barbeques where we can enjoy baked and grilled food.

Text A. We are happy to say that our sports shop is celebrating the 10^th anniversary of its opening and each customer will get a present today — a sports watch. Now, along with splashing in the pool and seeing the aquarium with tropical fish, our young guests can visit the place where we grow fruit and vegetables for our restaurant. Right behind our building, there’s a territory with a garden and an enclosure with hens, ducks, rabbits and even a couple of goats.

Text A. Dear all, my name’s Linda and I’m going to be your guide on this excursion. There’re twelve people in today’s group. Our driver, Jeff, is in his place too. So, we are ready to go. Before we set off I want to give you these boxes with your lunch. Our excursion lasts four hours. We’ve packed some food for you, so that you won’t feel hungry. I also have to remind you about safety rules. Your bags should be placed on the shelves above your head and your safety belt should be fastened.

At the moment our electronic specialists are testing the fire alarm system to avoid a similar situation in the future. In case any questions arise, turn to our manager in the central lobby on the ground floor of the shopping centre. We apologise for the inconvenience and wish you happy shopping. 

Text A. Attention, please! Passenger Peter Johns, who arrived from New York flight SU101, please, come to the information desk, which is to the right of the check-in area on the ground floor. Your suitcase was collected by another passenger by mistake. Now it has been returned and you can get it. If the luggage is not reclaimed it’ll be transferred to the lost property office. We also ask you not to touch any unattended luggage or lost documents but to contact an airport official.

To the right of the main entrance you’ll see a large glass house in which you can find out what life in the tropics feels like. The greenhouse is inhabited by nearly a thousand butterflies, which you can see for only ￡5. Children under sixteen have discounts. Don’t miss a chance to see our free exhibition of retro photos of the city in the central alley. 

Text A. Dear guests! Welcome to the bear area in our zoo. The good news is that a week ago a new baby bear was born. His mum had arrived from a Canadian Zoo and after the quarantine joined our family bears. The quarantine is a necessary procedure in such cases. The baby bear, whose name is Willy, is very cute. Unfortunately, the baby is out of sight now. He’s in the cave with his mum fast asleep. Like all babies Willy sleeps most of the day. 

Text A. Probably, you remember that 7 years ago our entertainment centre was, in fact, an indoor playground for very small kids. By now, those toddlers have turned into teenagers, who still often come to spend their free time with us, enjoying our creative activities. And we are still growing! Starting from now, we are removing any age restrictions in our club as there’s lots of room and entertainment for people of any age and with any interests. There’s also a Bingo and board games club!

Text A. Dear students, our language school offers different activities to make your stay here pleasant and exciting. Unfortunately, the swimming pool cannot be used for two more weeks until the renovation works are completed. However, you may take horse-riding lessons from 3 to 8 p.m. The horses are calm and well-trained. In fact, our horses are often used for the needs of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center as a complement to their gymnastics and swimming activities.
