Dear Jim,
Thanks for your recent email. I’m always glad to get messages from you.
Now I’d like to answer your questions. I usually have six lessons a day. As for foreign languages at school, I can learn English, German and French. English is compulsory, and we can choose between German and French as a second foreign language. The subject I find the most important for my future career is English because I want to work as a translator or an English teacher. English is spoken all over the world, so knowing it can help me get a good job and communicate with people from different countries.
