Liza: You must definitely keep up to date with both your native and foreign languages, and pay attention to new or unfamiliar words and expressions. Also, you should remember that language is more than just words and expressions. You have to learn a language in its ever-evolving cultural context. Foreign movies and TV shows are a convenient way to understand not just the language, but also the people who speak it.
