Imagine that you are doing a project on what household chores young people in Zetland mostly do at home. You have found some data on the subject — the results of the opinion polls (see the table below). Comment on the survey data and give your personal opinion on the subject of the project.
The survey question: What household chores young people in Zetland mostly do at home?

Write 200–250 words.

- conclude by giving and explaining your opinion on doing household chores.

The project I am currently working on is aimed at finding out what household chores young people in Zetland mostly do at home. I have found a table with the results of a survey and I am going to comment on the survey and give my opinion on the subject of the project.
According to the table answering the question «what household chores do you do mostly at home?», as many as 20% of respondents walk the dog, while a total of young people do the washing up. A minority of those polled take out rubbish.
It is clear from the table that the percentage of respondents who tidy up their room is significantly higher than the corresponding rate for those who do the shopping (35% and 15% respectively). This is not surprising, as teenagers’ rooms are their territories which teenagers only truly control so when they tidy, they are making decisions based on their own system unlike when they go shopping when teenagers have to buy what their parents usually ask them for.
Regrettably, some problems may arise with household chores.
One of them is to find the time when everyone can contribute to doing the chores. Everyone is busy with school, work, and friends. Fitting in chores can be hard. To solve this problem, it is advisable to have a strict plan or a schedule which contains who does which chores on what day.
In conclusion, I believe that household chores are much more than just «jobs that need to be done.» They are an important part of life.
